Located immediately east of downtown Columbus is the neighborhood of Olde Towne East. This neighborhood was home to bankers, barons and the elite of Columbus; a trip down modern Bryden Avenue will provide a glimpse into what their world may have been like. Fine examples of over 50 architectural styles can be found here which creates a unique charm to this near east side neighborhood. Nearby Franklin Park and Franklin Park Conservatory, a Victorian-era City Park & Garden, is a destination for visitors from all over with it’s well maintained gardens and walking paths. Like many other neighborhoods downtown, Olde Towne East is undergoing a revitalization with many new developments planned and under construction. Stop by Yellow Brick Pizza or the Oracle for a taste of the local life.
